Another golden arm from SoCal

California has the reputation for developing golden arm quarterbacks who excel on the D-I level. The class of 2008 is looking to be very good indeed. Another signal caller to jot down as one to watch is Ryan Griffin (6-4, 205, 4.85) from West Hills (Calif.) Chaminade.

"Cal, UCLA, Washington and UNLV have been by the school already," Chaminade coach Ben McEnroe said. "This is the earliest coaches have come by."

"I had 40 DVD's and recruiting packets ready and looks like we are going to have to get some more made."

A few years ago Chaminade produced Chris Turner who ended up at Maryland and now it appears that Griffin will also play football on the D-I level.
