Cats hope to stay hot against MU

The last time Kansas State won five conference games in a row, Lon Kruger was in the midst of delivering a fourth-straight NCAA Tournament appearance, Bill Snyder was still considered the new guy in town and Jason Bennett was four. It's been a while. But for the first time since 1989-90, the Wildcats could duplicate that feat if they get past Missouri on Wednesday night at Bramlage Coliseum.

Check that: Beat the Tigers and it's time to dig even deeper into those archives.

With a win, the Wildcats would also be off to their best start in 20 years.

Yes, the last time K-State faithful would have tasted such success was at the 'ol barn, Ahearn Field House.
