Tough stretch almost over for Tigers

The end is in sight.

The Auburn basketball team had one of the toughest starts to Southeastern Conference play in recent memory. The Tigers' first seven games included road trips to Kentucky, LSU and Mississippi State, plus home games against Vanderbilt, Alabama, Tennessee and Florida.

All those teams except MSU have been ranked at some point in the last three weeks.

AU went 3-4 in those seven games - much better than expected, considering the Tigers were picked to finish last in the SEC's Western Division this season.

But it's almost over.
