Bedlam: Part I
Bedlam basketball part I is looking to be what was expected, with one team riding high and the other in a funk.
Only the teams in each role aren't in the assumed spots. Oklahoma is riding high after a 91-51 shelling of Baylor in Norman and Oklahoma State is in a funk after getting whacked by Texas A&M, 69-47.
Those aren't spots either team is exactly used to, as OSU is 16-3 (2-2 Big 12) and ranked 12th in the nation, while the Sooners are 11-6 (3-2) and unranked. OU comes to Stillwater riding a three-game winning streak in the Big 12. In those wins, their average margin of victory is 27 points.
Of course, those three wins came against the likes of Baylor, Colorado and Nebraska, teams that are a combined 3-10 in the Big 12.
Meanwhile, OSU's two conference losses are to Kansas and Texas A&M, teams which are a combined 7-1 in the Big 12 and 32-5 overall.
