Will Auburn commit visit Bama?
With less than three weeks before Signing Day, Brewton (Ala.) W.S. Neal offensive lineman Jared Cooper has suddenly found himself in the middle of a recruiting firestorm.
For most of the summer and fall, it looked like Cooper would end up at Auburn. And he went public with his commitment to the Tigers earlier this week, accepting a grayshirt offer.
But that was before an in-hospital visit from Alabama head coach Nick Saban Monday night. The Tide offered Cooper a full ride starting this fall and he plans to officially visit Tuscaloosa this weekend.
"This Saturday we're going to go up to Tuscaloosa about lunchtime," said Cooper. "We're going to be there Saturday and Sunday.
