Last meeting: Last season the Tide and Tigers split the series with the Tide winning at home 67-62 and LSU winning in Baton Rouge 68-57.

Around the perimeter

Alabama: The Tide's perimeter game has been hit-or-miss thus far this season, going cold as often as it goes hot. Riley, Steele and Hollinger are all threats from beyond the arc but need to be able to establish it early in order to earn the respect of opposing defenses.

Arkansas: Beverley is the Razorbacks' key outside threat knocking down nearly 14 points per game. Defensively, however, Arkansas provides plenty of open looks on the perimeter allowing opponents nearly 7 three-pointers per game.
