Minor, Rolle step up against U Conn

The LSU reserves played an instrumental roll in the Tigers' 66-49 victory against Connecticut on Saturday night at the PMAC.

But, none of that production came from Terry Martin, who had been a solid scorer off the bench since becoming eligible five games ago.

Instead of Martin, the substitutes who starred were Tack Minor and Magnum Rolle. Both of those players were on the court when LSU rallied in the final minutes of the first half to take their first lead of the game.

"We got some good play out of our bench," LSU coach John Brady said. "I was proud of Tack coming in and giving us some positive minutes. Magnum had his moments of good play."
