Tigers run off Mississippi State

If nothing else, Rick Stansbury and Mike Anderson have managed to establish the normal length of a basketball game.

"The game is 40 minutes," Anderson said. "It ain't just three minutes."

"You better do it for 40 minutes," Stansbury noted. "Not for 35."

Both coaches had noticed the penchant of their respective teams to disappear for a few possessions during Missouri's 83-75 win over Mississippi State on Tuesday night.

Eventually, the Bulldogs raced to a 37-27 lead with just more than five minutes to play in the first half.
