Rush having fun again

Minutes after the No. 11 ranked Kansas Jayhawks (9-2; 0-0) defeated the Winston-Salem State Rams (1-14; 0-0), 94-43, Brandon Rush appeared from the locker room to address the media. For the first time in a long time, Rush had a big smile on his face and was clearly more talkative than usual. According to the 6-foot-6, 210-pound guard, KU is starting to have fun again on the court.

Against Winston-Salem State, Rush connected on 6-of-11 field goals, was 1-of-4 from behind the arc and scored 15-points. The play of the game came in the second half when Rush blocked a shot on the defensive end of the court and took the ball to the basket for a vicious one-handed dunk.
