After a visit to Illinois due to Boston College's cancellation, Chicago (Ill.) Mount Carmel three-star lineman Arthur Ray Jr. sounds like a young man exploring his options. In a wild week, the 6-foot-3, 280-pound guard committed to the Eagles as the news of their sudden coaching vacancy broke and then promptly went to Champaign for a visit. With Tom O'Brien now calling from Raleigh, is Ray still destined for Chestnut Hill?

"I have no idea what's going on up there," he said. "I liked the whole feel of Boston College, it reminded me of Chicago. I'm still a soft verbal (with BC), but I just want to see them get new coaches, so I know what's going on."
