Second half rally lifts Auburn over Wofford

Jeff Lebo has seen it before.

The Auburn basketball head coach knows it's just part of the territory: Young teams often struggle to stay focused, especially in games like Saturday's win against Wofford.

But at the start of the second half Saturday, the Tigers' lackluster effort almost cost them the game. It took a clutch scoring performance by point guard Quantez Robertson to set up AU's 86-76 win.

"Coach told us it's just about maturity," sophomore guard Rasheem Barrett said. "We'll be all right if we grow up as the season progresses."

Auburn (8-3) appeared set for a runaway victory, racing to an 8-point halftime lead. But as they have several times this season, the Tigers came out flat to start the second half.
