Crucial weekend for USC recruiting

USC currently has 11 verbal commitments from the class of 2007, still accumulating the highest average star rating in college football.

In addition to its growing group of highly-touted committed recruits, the Trojans also boast a formidable group of prospects taking official visits to USC this weekend. Today we look at how this weekend's visits stack up.

Both of USC's running back commits are scheduled to be on hand for official visits this weekend. Marc Tyler of Oaks Christian High School season ending leg surgery last month after severely fracturing his fibula in a playoff game.

Tyler is still in a wheel chair, but he intends on taking his official visit to USC with the rest of the Trojans' in-state committed recruits. Tyler, Chris Galippo, Martin Coleman, Marshall Jones, Samson Szakacsy and Jordan Campbell will also welcome Little Rock (Ark.) running back Broderick Green back to USC.
