Aldrich off to hot start

After a disappointing spring and summer AAU circuit, Cole Aldrich appears to be back. Throughout the first two regular season games of the year, the No. 25 ranked player in the class of 2007 is averaging 25.5 points, 19.5 rebounds and four blocks per game.

There was a time when Aldrich, the No. 5 ranked center in the class, was highly regarded as one of the truly elite players in the class of 2007. Before the spring and summer AAU circuit got started, Aldrich was the No. 9 ranked player in the class.

However, injuries and a number of additional setbacks prevented the 6-foot-10, 245-pound center from Bloomington (MN) Jefferson High School from having the type of AAU circuit he had originally envisioned.
