Ballou stars hold UNC interest
Ballou High School in Washington, D.C. made history this fall, as its football team won its first-ever City Championship. The Knights, led by a core of elite football prospects, including Lamar Milstead and Marvin Austin, rallied to win eight consecutive games to end the season.
"It was our first (City Championship) win in school history, and it was special because it was the first one," said Ballou head coach Moses Ware.
"It was very special for the team, because we came together kind of late. I got the job in June, and the players immediately bought into what we were trying to do. Winning the Turkey Bowl was a product of them buying into our system and coming together."
