Jayhawks fall to DePaul

No. 5 ranked Kansas arrived in Chicago, Ill, Saturday to take on the DePaul Blue Demons. Although the Jayhawks were favored, the trip to DePaul was the first true road test for KU, and it wasn't easy. KU led throughout the game, but the Blue Demons, led by senior Sammy Mejia's 23 points, hit key shots down the stretch to defeat Kansas, 64-57.

The Jayhawks played spectacular defense in the first half, limiting DePaul to one shot each time down. The first half was low scoring, which seemed to favor Kansas. However, KU is apparently lacking the right attitude to win close games.
