Q&A with Kiante Tripp

UGASports caught up with freshman defensive end Kiante Tripp to talk about his first year at Georgia and the prognosis for his foot injury and whether he will be able to play basketball this year or football in the spring.

UGASports:
What is the prognosis for your foot injury and how it happened?

Tripp:

"The injury came from high school to two ligaments in the my ankle and two chipped bones and I have been playing through it since high school. I had been bothering me for a while and the people at Georgia decided that they did not want me to mess it up worse so they took X-rays and MRIs and found out what happened. I got surgery done and now I am waiting patiently for it to heal and then rehab it. Then we will have spring practice and I can go out and do my thing."
