Texas tidbits: Razorbacks making noise

Arkansas consistently relies on the state of Texas morethan any other school in the SEC. The Razorbacks' winning ways this season have certainly helped their efforts in the Lone Star state with their first Texas commit and several big targets on the radar.

The Hogs received a commitment from three-star Irving (Texas) MacArthur safety Bret Harris, after he took an official visit to Fayetteville on Nov. 10. Harris said that the atmosphere and the way that Arkansas beat Tennessee played a big factor in his decision.

Those statements are echoed by several other top Texas prospects including Harris' teammate and four-star athlete Ron Brooks. Brooks said that of all the schools he had been to, Arkansas had the "best" atmosphere.
