Patterson back after Virginia official visit

The player who tops Virginia's wish list for 2007 is unquestionably five-star power forward Patrick Patterson, and this past weekend the Cavaliers entertained the 6-foot-8, 230-pounder on his fifth and final official visit. The Huntington, W.Va., native was in town to see UVa's 93-90 win against Arizona, as well as to get a taste of what life would be like as a student in Charlottesville. Patterson's father filled in CavsCorner on the trip.

"It was very enjoyable. Patrick really enjoyed the weekend," the elder Patterson said. "He got to hang out with the guys and meet the athletic director and talk to the academic advisor. He felt good about that. It was also good to see Mike (Scott) and Ed (Davis) from his AAU team."
