Huskies pick up commit

UConn not only earned a double-overtime victory over Pittsburgh on Saturday night, the Huskies also picked up a verbal commitment from Kendall Reyes, a 6-foot-5, 220-pound prospect from Nashua (N.H.) Senior.

Reyes plays wide receiver and defensive end this season but has also played outside linebacker. Reyes, who has a 32-inch vertical and has been timed at 4.6 seconds in the 40-yard dash, projects as a defensive player for the Huskies. In the last four weeks, he has six sacks from his rush end position.
