DeCicco leads Jaguars into playoffs

Pitt's commits for 2007 out of the WPIAL are putting together stellar seasons. One of them, whose name should be mentioned for player-of-the-year honors in the area, is Dom DeCicco. DeCicco moved from receiver to quarterback this season, and is the key player for the No. 1 ranked Class AAA team in the state. Thomas Jefferson has outscored opponents 397-54 this season, only allowing points in five of those ten games.

DeCicco, who committed to Pitt as an athlete, could end up playing receiver, safety or linebacker for the Panthers. He's doesn't have a preference, but adds he is just looking forward to becoming a Panther. He noted that several members of the Panther coaching staff have checked in on him during the season.
