Tide wraps up Class of 2007

Two star guards and a big man with potential round out the Crimson Tide's 2007 recruiting class, which will likely be among the top classes in the nation when releases its update rankings. The Tide received its last letter of intent on Thursday morning from Senario Hillman who will join Rico Pickett and Justin Knox in the Tide's '07 signing class.

"Alabama's 2007 class should land in the top 20 classes nationally," said basketball recruiting analyst Jerry Meyer. "Pickett and Hillman are a top tandem in the backcourt, and the Alabama coaching staff feels that Knox has great potential. Hillman is a combo guard who can create off the dribble and really make things happen in transition. On the other side of the ball, Hillman is an underrated defender."

BamaOnline recruiting analyst Tim Watts also feels head coach Mark Gottfried's recruiting strategy this year was well thought out and sets the Tide up nicely for next year.
