UK, others will have to wait on Patterson

It's never easy when it comes to Kentucky basketball recruiting and the power forward position.

After struggling in recent years to land a number of elite prospects at the position, the Wildcats have now learned they'll have to wait a few more months to know if they'll be the team of choice for one of their most important recruits in the Class of 2007.

A five-star prospect rated No. 14 overall in this year's class, Huntington (W.Va.) standout Patrick Patterson (6-8, 228) originally planned to sign this fall. But he says the decision between five schools - Kentucky, Florida, Duke, Wake Forest and Virginia - has become more difficult than he expected.
