Crenshaw LB is a hit

Sleeper linebacker Terrell Turner (6-3, 225, 4.7) from Los Angeles (Calif.) Crenshaw is making a name for himself as one of the leaders of one Southern California's best defenses.

In nine games with more to go, Turner has accounted for 113 tackles, four sacks, four caused fumbles and one pick that he returned for a touchdown.

Turner definitely passes the look test. He looks like Tarzan and plays like King Kong. He is a player who is really coming into his own as a football player.

Turner's status as a sleeper is because he played out of his natural position, as defensive end for most of his career. He switched to linebacker midway through the season and helped Crenshaw win the Los Angeles City Section Championship in 2005.

The scouting report on Turner is he has a non-stop motor that is always getting to the football. He also has great leadership qualities and is very intelligent on and off the field.

Washington, Cal, UCLA, Oregon, Oregon State and USC are showing interest in Turner.
