Romero Osby, ‘Mr. Versatility’

Meridian, Miss., Northeast Lauderdale small forward Romero Osby enters his junior season as the No. 1 prospect in the Magnolia State and the No. 31 player overall, and for good reason. Simply stated, he can do it all. He has size, range, court sense…you name it. His dad, Daryl, comments on his skills, his future, and his intangibles.

"He had a broken wrist over the summer but everything has healed, and it has been hectic with recruiting," he began. "Of course Mississippi State, Ole Miss, Memphis, Tennessee, Georgia Tech, Kansas, Arkansas, so many I can't remember all of them off the top of my head. I just remember the ones that have been here to actually visit.
