Dixon the last man standing

After sharing carries with fellow freshman Arnil Stallworth and Brandon Thornton, Anthony Dixon has become the man by default. The Bulldogs have been using a three-man rotation since the start of the season, but recently lost two of the three-man rotation, which leaves Dixon as the lone guy.

Dixon was the guy in high school and showed signs of promise early in the season. the emergence of Thornton and Stallworth hindered his production, but now with the injuries, Dixon will now receive the bulk of the carries.

"I am excited for the opportunity to get some more carries, but I hate to see my teammates go down like that," he said. "I will be a lot more focused than I was in the past games. I know my team is counting on me and I know I will come through."

He watched teammate after teammate go down with different injuries. Dixon was thinking about changing his running style to prevent injury, but after a quick evaluation of his game, he thought he should stick with his instincts.
