Stinnett talks about his latest visit to ISU
One of the longest running ISU recruiting storylines in recent years is nearing its end. After taking his second official visit in as many years to Iowa State, Wolfeboro (N.H.) Brewster Academy guard P'Allen Stinnett is on the verge of making a final decision
again. Stinnett arrived back at prep school on Sunday evening and CycloneReport.com talked with him about his latest trip to Ames and where things stand as of now.
Of course, the fact that the 6-foot-3, 175-pound Stinnett is still on the recruiting market was not necessarily his doing. He signed with Iowa State as a 2006 prospect but asked for a release from that written commitment when ISU changed coaching staffs. It was granted and the Las Vegas, Nev., native opted for a year at prep school and has been heavily involved with the new Cyclone staff and some other schools ever since. He officially visited ISU last fall and, as a 2007 prospect, could do so again this year and that trip took place this past weekend.
