Holmes interested in basketball career

Oklahoma football players are generally multi-sport athletes coming out of high school. The Sooners have lost out on athletes over the years due to pro baseball careers.

Former Sooner and current Tennessee Titans wide receiver Brandon Jones even played baseball for a season while attending OU on a football scholarship.

But it looks like another Sooner is interested in taking on a dual sport career at Oklahoma after the football season ends.

Lendy Holmes is trying to find his way on the basketball team following the completion of Oklahoma's football season.

"I want to play basketball but it's up to Coach Stoops if he's gonna let me or not," said Holmes.
