Wilson faces another tough challenge

With Adrian Peterson no longer commanding the attention of opposing defenses, the Sooners must now find a way to make plays with an offense void of their top weapon on offense.

Kevin Wilson has done a masterful job of tailoring the offense around the strengths of Paul Thompson, but the offensive coordinator will now be faced with his second biggest task - redirecting the offense around Allen Patrick and Jacob Gutierrez.

But even with the loss of Peterson, don't expect Wilson to completely go back to the drawing board.

"I can't answer today if we're going to be significantly different," said Wilson. "We are what we are and we're invested now with six games and an open date and you have 11 weeks of this being where we're at and what we're doing."
