Highlights of Peterson's final game in Norman
Most Sooner fans knew that their remaining time with Adrian Peterson was reaching it's conclusion and to cherish each breathtaking run. No one was set to enjoy that time more than Nelson Peterson, the star running back's father who was enjoying his first time to see his son play since pee wee football.
However, no one realized just how short that time would be as 'AD' was lost, possibly for the season, on yet another awe inspiring touchdown sprint in Oklahoma's 34-9 win over Iowa State on Saturday afternoon.
Of course this wasn't the only thing happening as the Sooners downed the Cyclones, a couple of touchdown hook-ups between Paul Thompson and Malcolm Kelly along with a career day from much maligned free safety Darien Williams.
Kelly wasn't the only player that Thompson found with repetition, Manuel Johnson, Peterson, and Joe John Finley all had multiple catches on the day.
Take a look at another Rivals.com exclusive highlight reel of possibly the final time Peterson wears his red and white No. 28.
