Hamilton watching closely

Chapin (TX) defensive tackle Dominique Hamilton has gotten off to a strong first half of the season. He said that he's able, in several games, to make an impact while only playing the first half.

Hamilton said that football outside of El Paso has been fairly steady in the past few weeks, but did include a visit to Arizona State.

Hamilton said that he has kept in close touch with Missouri coach Brian Jones and the two talk often about setting up Hamilton's return visit to Columbia.

Missouri's mid-season trips to Texas have not gone unnoticed by Hamilton, who said it was nice to watch Missouri on TV, especially against teams who are also recruiting him.
