Michigan solidifies spot for Romine

Heading into the fall, it was a question whether or not Michigan would even receive an official visit from four-star prospect Matt Romine of Tulsa (Okla.) Union after already having hosted him for an unofficial visit this past summer. The 6-6, 285-pound offensive tackle did end up setting his first official visit of the process to Michigan and took that this past weekend.

Rated as the No. 12 offensive tackle in the nation, Romine was one of seven official visitors at Michigan this past weekend, a recruiting trip that was in conjunction with the Wolverines' home matchup with Michigan State.

Over the summer, Romine had placed a strong emphasis on both Oklahoma and Notre Dame, naming them as the first two schools he wanted to officially visit.
