In-state battle for Huntsville wideout

Huntsville, Ala., WR Quindarious Carr expected to be recruited. And he was right: Division I offers started rolling in back in the spring.


He didn't expect to become one of the biggest in-state battles in Alabama for the class of 2007. But Auburn and Alabama have both made him a top priority.


Carr, a 6-foot, 170-pounder, picked up offers from both the Tigers and Tide early in the process. But after totaling 28 catches for 435 yards and two touchdowns through his first five games, the interest from both schools has picked up substantially.
