Monday Practice Report

Mississippi State went back to the drawing board working on the game plan for Tulane.

"I thought we had some pretty good work today. We had a lot enthusiasm. I am trying to get them to approach every play as if it is a game changing play. That is part of the mentality that we have to have.

"Believe it or not we had some guys that graded out well and played well, but each guy had a critical error, a game costing error, where if it did not occur it would have changed the game. Brian Anderson played a great game, but he had a critical error on the goal line that allowed the guy to sack Tray and cause a fumble. That was a game changer. Tray was about to throw a strike to Tony Burks that would have at least put us on the thirty-yard line.
