OU's Thompson has everything setup in his favor

Last year's opening season loss to TCU hasn't been easy for Oklahoma players, coaches or fans to forget. And it's been even tougher for Paul Thompson to relive.

When asked earlier this fall if he had ever had a desire to watch a replay of last year's 17-10 loss to TCU, Thompson simply replied, "I don't want to see it. I don't have the feel or need to watch it."

The TCU game was the beginning of the end to Thompson's quarterback career at Oklahoma, or so it seemed at the time.

On the day, Thompson completed 11-of-26 passes for 109 yards while also throwing one interception. After the game Thompson had few answers.

"I think our problem was mainly our execution," he said following the loss to TCU. "We came out and knew what we had to do but didn't execute."
