The Big Cat Speaks - Southern Hospitality

It may not require every trick in the book, but if that is what it takes to beat nationally-ranked Auburn in the nationally-televised first game of the season, then you can bet WSU head football coach Bill Doba will be pulling out all the stops. The Cougars are playing Auburn for the first time ever in the history of the schools and with the Tigers being considered as national title contenders, it will likely be considered an upset if the Cougars are able to escape without losing 10 pounds per player in the expected humidity. When the possibility of playing Auburn arose, even the WSU president, V. Lane Rawlins, who did some time at Memphis, was hesitant, according to Doba.
