Shirdan confident in his commitment to WVU
Picture this. You are a hot-shot recruit in one of the toughest football leagues in the Northeast. You made honorable mention All-Catholic Blue Division in the Philadelphia suburbs as a junior.
You are being pursued by seventh-ranked West Virginia, Akron and Temple, in your hometown. Pitt, Virginia, Penn State, Vanderbilt and North Carolina are showing interest.
One of the top seniors in this year's Philly Catholic League Blue Division, West Virginia commit P.J. Shirdan stuck with the Mountaineers because of a) his loyalty and b) because he loves the place and the football program.
