Chris Frome put Monday's workout in unique perspective.
Considering the clichés coming en masse out of Notre Dame's fall camp, the defensive end could have opted for the one-practice-at-a-time approach in describing the Irish scrimmage on Monday night.

"The heat's on," Frome admitted. "It's going to be a big job to fill (Monday night)."
Frome started the first six games of last season before a knee injury suffered against Southern California put him on the shelf. Talley filled the vacancy for the season's balance, save missing the Stanford game with a shoulder injury.
Monday night's scrimmage inside the Stadium could be the first step in separating which defensive end wins the starting job opposite Victor Abiamiri this fall.
