Anderson still solid

The Bulldogs have made it a point to go after athletes with speed, and to move them to where they could best help the team, and with Mississippi's best athletes often starring at the QB slot in high school, signing these players has been a common practice. Damein Anderson fits that mold for Hazlehurst and will join State as a DB in February. How have things gone since his decision back in March?


"Everything is firm," he began. "Really I like the coaches there and the campus and all that. It was the only offer I had got and I just decided to go ahead and do it. It's a nice school and that's where I am going. That's where I want to go.


"I liked how the coaching staff was and it is a good school. It is just a nice school for me to go to."
