Practice Report: Tide gets scrappy on Day 3

The first day of shoulder pads was the most intense day yet of fall camp for the Crimson Tide and that intensity boiled over into several minor scraps between the defense and the offense.


"We had a couple skirmishes out there," said Mike Shula. "You want a little of that but you don't want to do it at the risk of causing a penalty in a game and that's what we talk about in practice."


Corner Simeon Castille seemed to be at the center of most of said skirmishes but noted that there is no lost love between the players involved.
