CB Hill visits VT and others

Highland Springs, Va. cornerback Cris Hill took unofficial visits to a few schools in the past couple weeks. The 5-foot-11, 166-pounder stopped through West Virginia, Tennessee along with Virginia Tech. What did Hill like about the trip to Blacksburg and how did it compare to his other stops?

"Virginia Tech was a great visit," he said. "They were very welcoming to me on campus, but this wasn't my first time there since I went for camp as a sophomore. This time around I basically was being very observant of everything. I toured the campus, saw the offices, met the coaches and checked out the academics.

"Coach Beamer talked to me for a beat and was straight up about telling me he felt I'm the best defensive back in the state and I'd fit in well with their program. I was also able to talk to my old teammate Macho Harris. It was nice meeting up with him and we had a good conversation."

After his stop in Blacksburg, Hill went on to Knoxville and Morgantown.
