Jackson to visit SU
With the departure of James Wyche and Ryan Lacasse to the NFL, it seems the Orange was left with a bit of a depth problem at defensive end. While Syracuse has turned to a few underclassmen for help this upcoming fall, Greg Robinson and his staff are turning to the high school ranks this recruiting season, looking for its next great pass rusher. Sleeper prospect Zary Stewart is already on board, but SU has its hat in the ring for a handful of top prospects such as Varina (Va.) stud Jamar Jackson.
The 6-foot-4, 225-pound prospect is currently in the midst of a serious change, spending the off-season bulking up.
It seems his hard work has already begun to pay off as Jackson now has eight offers, including ones from Syracuse, Virginia Tech, North Carolina State and Boston College.
