Johnson excited about friends in Norman
It's pretty rare that a visiting junior-to-be can get the Rivals.com network in a frenzy, but when you've been tabbed 'the next AD' in your initial article in the network, it's not hard to imagine how it happens. The hoopla around Gilmer, Texas' Justin Johnson's visit to Oklahoma was only added to by the fact he was accompanied by arguably the two top 2008 offensive tackles in Texas, Klein's J.B. Shugarts and Stephen Good of Paris.
Johnson has been to Norman on multiple occasions due to his cousin Manuel Johnson's but was most excited about the chance to bring two of his newest friends to Norman with him.
"I always have fun there but this time I got to bring some of my friends; for Shugarts it was his first time down," said Johnson. "It was nice that we got to hang out some on the trip and just before we left, we just got to know each other a little better since meeting at the Texas camp earlier this summer."
Though the 6-foot-1, 205-pound Johnson has spent ample time in Norman his hosts found a way for him to see some new things during roughly 36 hours spent on campus.
