Arizona getting an impact player in Lucas-Perry

In order to understand how the commitment of Laval Lucas-Perry will help Arizona, one needs to realize that rankings do not nearly mean as much as some would like to believe.

Even though rankings for the upper tier of players seem to be pretty close to how a player will turn out, the rankings become somewhat useless for the guys that are not the superstars of the class.

Having seen Lucas-Perry play, I am confident in saying that he is one of the more underrated players in the country. He came into the Arizona Advanced Skill Camp as somewhat of an unknown and came out of the camp as a player that many correctly anticipated was about to gain a lot of attention.

Lucas-Perry was able to gain an offer from Arizona with an impressive performance at the camp. After receiving offers from Penn State, Iowa, Michigan, Iowa, Wisconsin, Michigan State, and Boston College, the offer from Arizona stood above the rest.
