Holmes takes unofficial visit to Texas A&M

National basketball camps were in full swing in early July with many of the top high school prospects heading out across the country to put their skills on display for college coaches.

One of the top playmaking point guards in the state of Texas, B.J. Holmes, took his game out to Atlanta and the Addidas camp from July 5-9.

The 5-foot-10, 160-pound floor leader from Alief Hastings (Houston) had a surprising assessment of his play at the camp.

And the ultra-quick guard has plenty of college choices with offers from Miami, Georgetown, Texas A&M, Michigan, and Charlotte to name a few.
