Warren top player in Texas for '08?

The 2007 recruiting class is beginning to kick into gear as collegiate coaches put the full-court press on their various targets. The class of 2008, however, has reached a point where they have the ability to be contacted.

While they may not be the focus of all coaches there are still players such as Crowley (Tex.) North Crowley guard Willie Warren who are already receiving an abundance of attention.

Warren figures to be one of the top players in the country when 2008 rankings are released in August. His summer plans have been slowed, though, by an untimely injury.

Warren mentioned his current top five consists of Kansas State, Syracuse, Georgetown, Arkansas and Missouri with Kansas State holding a slight lead, because of his relationship with coach Bob Huggins.
