One of the nation's top sophs visits Rutgers

The secret is out. Dexter Strickland, who was rated one of the top three freshmen in the state last Fall by NJ Hoops, has taken his game national, with impressive performances on the AAU and camp circuit. Strickland's latest stop was the Adidas Phenom Camp, where he received strong praise from Rivals.com, not only as the top player in the camp, but also one of the top players in the national 2009 class.

The Rutgers coaching staff has already made inroads with the talented guard who inspires comparisons to Dwyane Wade with his ability to break defenders down and score off the dribble. Strickland and his family were at Rutgers today touring the campus with head coach Freddie Hill and staff.
