It's a Holiday at UCLA's Hoops Camp

The Bruins are hosting some the best high school basketball players on the planet. One of them quite possibly may be the best player out of the class of 2007 in guard Jrue Holiday (6-4, 200) from North Hollywood (Calif.) Campbell Hall.

As a sophomore, Holiday averaged 21 points and 5.6 assists a game,

"Jrue is a very gifted, multi-dimensional player who can play a variety of positions," Campbell Hall coach Terry Kelly said. "He has great upside."

"Defensively he's fantastic," Kelly said. "I haven't seen anyone defend on the perimeter get by him especially on the basketball.

"Offensively, Jrue has the complete game," Kelly said. "He can get shot off on the catch or dribble.

"Jrue has a great mid-range game and he can finish. There are few flaws if any.

According to Kelly it's still a little way before Holiday gets serious about narrowing schools down.
