What a difference a year makes for Box

They say that the youngest years are the most important, but if one point in a person's life had to be voted most turbulent it would almost assuredly be that time we all spent walking the halls of our local high schools. Even for the biggest of high school sports stars there are abrupt changes to life.

While a year's turn around isn't exactly an abrupt change it is amazing how quickly things have changed for Enid, Okla., four-star linebacker Austin Box. Just a few short months ago colleges from across the country were fighting to get his attention, and it was just a year ago that his name first emerged to the masses on SoonerScoop.com.

Since his commitment the question remained whether Box would get a chance to play for Oklahoma or if the appeal of the money of the Major League Baseball draft could lure him away but more and more the question seems to have changed to wondering whether he'll even play his senior year of baseball.
