McNeil looking forward to FSU visit
It'll be a sad day for the state of Alabama if four-star safety Michael McNeil decides to leave the state. As it stands, the Rivals100 member lists Florida State, Alabama, and Auburn as his top three schools. There are other schools are still in the mix, but those three are well out in front. McNeil is very familiar with the two in-state schools, but what he wants to see is the school he grew up cheering for -- Florida State.
"I like Mickey Andrews," said McNeil, "he's one of the best defensive coordinators in the nation. I love FSU's tradition. It's the same distance as Alabama and Auburn so my family can see me play. FSU plays an aggressive style of defense and I've always been a fan. They've always been one of my favorites."
The 6-foot-2, 195-pound speedster says he hopes to visit Florida State on July 6th. Should he fall in love with the school, could we see a commitment during the visit?
