New challenge awaits Kamara

Duval Kamara won't need to look far for competition.

The Irish verbal commitment knows he can find a new challenge the next time he picks up the phone to dial another wide receiver prospect, Arrelious Benn. The two top-flight wide outs visited Notre Dame for the Blue-Gold Game on April 22, with Kamara going Irish a few weeks later. Each prospect ranks among the national elite at their position, with Benn slotted as the country's second-best receiver and Kamara checking in fifth.

"I think he's a great receiver," Kamara said of Benn.

Of course the 6-foot-5, 209-pound wide out from Hoboken, N.J., has earned his own praise too. In addition to his No. 5 position at receiver, Kamara was ranked by Rivals.com as the country's No. 39 player overall, a statistic the Irish commitment can recite without much prompting.
